The SARS-Cov2 pandemic situation forced us to postpone the ISPA planned for 2021. We are confident that the 9th ISPA can be held at the Fraunhofer IKTS facilities in Dresden, Germany as in prior years.

The ISPA 2022 focuses on two application and research topics:

• Integrated sensor solutions for in-situ measuring mechanical quantities in machine tools, and
• new trends in piezocomposite material developments
