The HVA 1500-2 two channel high voltage amplifier model from Physical Instruments is designed for driving P1 type MFCs. With an output voltage of -500V to +1500V and a maximal output current of 60mA AC on each channel, the HVA 1500-2 is designed to drive several P1 type (d33 effect) MFCs, including static driving setups. The HVA 1500-2 is also available as the HVA 1500-3, three channel and HVA 1500-4, four channel version.

microHVA-2 - Dual MFC channel High Voltage Power Amplifier

The microHVA-2 is a triple output power supply with one fixed 500V output, and two variable outputs from 0V to 2 kV. This power supply is specifically designed for driving P1 type MFCs. Use of the bias supply allows a voltage range of -500V to +1500V to be applied simultaneously to two different MFCs or MFC groups. For the output voltage control, the microHVA-2 provides four jumper-selectable interfaces, an analog interface, a PWM interface, an 8-bit I2C interface, and a 12-bit I2C interface. It is designed for battery operation and requires a DC supply voltage from 12V to 16V.


HVA-ST300 High Voltage Amplifier for high capacitive loads, including Stack Actuators

The high voltage amplifier HVA-ST300 was designed for high capacitive loads as typically exhibited by piezo ceramic actuators, especially multilayer stack actuators. The HVA-ST300 is capable of delivering an output voltage in the range of 0V to +200V and an output current of up to 2A DC. The amplifier provides a large signal bandwidth of DC to 1kHz, depending on the load capacitance.

The AMD2012-CE3 is a single channel power supply with one fixed 500V output, and one variable output from 0 volts to 2 kV. This power supply is specifically designed for Macro Fiber Composite (MFC) applications. Use of the bias supply allows a range of -500V to +1500V to be applied to the MFC. The AMD2012-CE3 possesses a direct analog interface and a PWM input interface. It is designed for battery operation and requires a DC supply voltage between 8 and 15V.
